Helping Nonprofits Find
The Right Board Members
49% of nonprofit chief executives said it is difficult to find board members who are a good fit for their organization.

At Mollard Consulting, we realize that one of the most overlooked aspects of nonprofit governance is also one of the most important: identifying and matching the right people with the right board roles.
We also realize that even when board members with the right experience and passion are identified, recruited, and onboarded, there is still work to be done. Often, new board members lack an understanding of their role, knowledge of board governance, or a clear picture of expectations.
Board Building Benefits:
Finding the right board members to help you achieve your mission can be laborious and time-consuming. And if you’re like most nonprofits, you’ve nearly exhausted the list of usual suspects from your circle of networks.
With Board Building, you have access to a wider pool of prospective board members, gaining expanded networks and influence. Board Building also enables you to save valuable time while still retaining the ultimate decision-making power of final board member selections. Plus, the experts at Mollard Consulting serve as the guides-by-your-side every step of the way.
Strong board governance matters because board members help keep your organization on track. They make sure you stay mission-focused, use resources wisely, and operate responsibly. Without that foundation, even the best intentions can lead to missteps.
Informed board members — trained and supported by the governance experts at Mollard Consulting — will understand their legal and fiduciary responsibilities. With Board Building, your board members will understand their role and how to best make a difference.
The right board members, with the right training and support, can provide meaningful oversight and guidance for you and your leadership team. And an engaged board allows for a healthier working relationship. Board Building helps make that possible.
Through Board Building, your organization secures board members aligned to your mission and areas of need. Paired with strong governance, your organization can keep your focus on your mission — allowing you to make a greater impact for the people and communities you serve.
